Natural Oval Cooking Planks and Pork Tenderloins on the BBQ

Foodies! You gotta try this on your barbeque this summer!
$12.99 for 8 Oval Planks - your choice of 10 wood flavors. We used Wild Apple for the Pork tenderloins:
Wild Apple Natural Oval Cooking Planks 4x6

Soak the planks for 2 hrs or so in some liquid. Could be water, beer, apple juice, wine or? Experiment!

Ingredients: Pork tenderloins, Salt, Pepper, Chopped Garlic, White Onions. Garnish
Cut your tenderloins into 2-3" thick slices.
Put some olive oil and thinly sliced onions onto one side of the plank & then center the tenderloin medalions onto the oval plank.
Add salt, pepper, garlic and some more sliced onions and olive oil on top.
Put the planks onto a cookie sheet.
Prepare a HOT BBQ with a lid that closes.

Place the cookie sheet of prepared planks right on the hot grill and close the top.
To get a real nice smokey wood flavor happening, add Wild Apple Chunks to the Grill top. These will burn up while you're cooking and share their wonderful smoke with the food you're cooking.

Cooking time completely depends on the thickness of the pork and the temp. of the fire. We cooked at near 500 degrees for 20 minutes or so but you'll need to experiment with your BBQ and remove them when they are cooked and still moist. Soaking the planks helps in creating a steam inside the BBQ which will help keep anything your cooking from drying out. Go try it! Amaze your friends and neighbors with your chefly abilities!
